I am dyslexic. I am also a writer. And a pianist. And a horn player. Dyslexia doesn't prevent me from doing things. I just spend a little (okay, sometimes a lot) of time finding ways around the inherent problems that come with being dyslexic. Like an ENORMOUS dictionary and thesaurus. And memorizing as I learn. Trust me, if you put your mind to it, dyslexia isn't an impairment.
